We just received a text from one of our doctors that is on the advance team. They arrived in Gulu after a 5 hour ride dodging big trucks, potholes, pedestrians, bicycles and an occasional cow and goat. They crossed the Nile, saw some baboons, pulled over twice for an overheated van and visited with some exuberant locals who had just caught some fish. The work begins tomorrow.
